Festival of the East is a two day family friendly mideastern festival rich in culture and history will feature continuous music and dancing. Festival of the East celebrates the music and the dance, keeping a 3,000 year old legacy alive through a high level of learning and sharing. Festival highlights include Free beginner belly dance classes, Q&A sessions with the world renowned leading authority and living legend Morocco plus loads of unique one-of-a-kind merchandise.

Daytime Show

Morocco (Carolina Varga Dinicu) is considered the leading performer & authority in her field in the U.S., Canada and abroad, evidenced by frequent invitations to teach master seminars and perform all over the world.

Tarik Sultan is one of the few male Oriental Dancers in the world. His talent and dedication to the art of Oriental Dance has earned him a reputation as a dynamic performer, teacher and choreographer.

Kaeshi Chai has taught all over the world including the US, Canada, Europe, Mexico, Bali, Trinidad, Australia and throughout Asia. She performed with the first professional touring belly dance company, the "Bellydance Superstars"

Sera Solstice director of Solstice Studio, & founder of the East Coast Tribal community in NYC, Sera is the creatrix behind the East Coast Tribal Style of Bellydance taught at Solstice Studio & performed by Solstice Dance Ensemble.

Casey Bond has been performing and facilitating percussion workshops for over a decade – first, as the co-founder of the fusion duo Eastwinds Tribal Drumming, and currently with her own no frills percussion projects.

April Centrone is one of the leading classical Arabic percussionists in America. April plays riq, frame drum, darbuka, oud and violin. Apri; has performed in venues such as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center.
